Don’t let the title here fool you, this thing is not just a shelf. This simple shelf can actually be one of the most versatile pieces of decor in game if you know how to use it. Want to know how? Continue reading Decor Drop #1: Marauder Metal Shelf
Today’s Nexus Tips is all about the bottom section of the UI, I’ll be covering what purpose it has and how you can tinker with it via various addons. Continue reading Nexus Tips #1: Buttons and Addons
So I looked at the site a lot during my absence and decided I’d need to trim it down a little to be manageable if I’m going to keep up a daily update schedule. That is the plan now after all, every day at or before 9pm GMT there’ll be something new to read.
A few sections have disappeared for the time being and others edited to include more stuff than the initial renditions allowed. This isn’t to say this is the final version of the site, it’ll continue to evolve and I’m hoping to cover some extra topics that aren’t currently part of the battle plan. This was simply a bit of a clean up. Continue reading Changes I’ve Made – June 2014
Right, with my life affairs firmly set in place for the time being this site can get moving again. I’m in the midst of a very PvP heavy post brewing in my mind along with some big ambitions for where I hope things go soon, if not soon eventually.
I’ll be changing the site a little bit here and there, removing some sections and clumping others together just so I have a better idea of what I can be outputting on a daily basis, and that’s right I’m now going daily. It’ll be a very rough ride for me, I’ll be trying my absolute best to write here every day. I’d hope to throw some YouTube videos up, but with my current gaming rig down and my sub-par laptop taking it’s place for the time being quality would be awful (I have to play on Ultra low settings..) so that’s later in the year.
Anyway, posts incoming later to go into all of this in much more depth along with the battle plans for the year!
It’s been just over a week now since WildStar’s official launch, I thought I’d give my view on the game itself now that I’m no longer limited by anything other than my own determination and time. Continue reading Weekly Synopsis – First week impressions
C.R.E.D.D has finally made its way onto the scene with this latest patch, initially Carbine decided that implementing the system on launch wasn’t the best approach, server economies would be unstable and thus it was delayed to week two. A lot of controversy has come around the system, but more on that after the patch notes themselves. Continue reading Build #6723 Patch Notes
Selvon has been busy with all his videos covering the different housing plugs and associated challenges available to purchase or acquire in-game.
Here he covers the Shardspire Canyon FABKIT and it’s challenge.
And to cover some of the various decorative plugs you can set up on your plot he’s thrown together another video going over where to find them and what they look like.
The Deluxe version of WildStar came with some incentives to buy, the Eldan themed hoverboard and costume set along with the fabled Eldan Gold/Green dye(s). Upon acquisition of the account bound item though many people were confused as to only receiving Eldan Green.
As you can see the whole / made a lot of difference to what was meant by this items description. Originally it was intended to have been the one singular dye with green being being the base color and gold being the color shift the dye possessed.
As this was mistaken by a lot of the community, game sites, fan sites and in-fact the developer team themselves, Carbine have taken initiative and made a post on the forum talking about why the confusion was there and what they’re going to do about it. What they are going to do is give out an Eldan Gold dye to anyone who ordered the Deluxe Edition and anyone who ever would order it.
This is awesome as a standard, not only to admit they themselves were internally confused but also to say “You know what, it sounds like we promised two, so here’s two.” Carbine are once again showing developers what it’s like to be an MMO that listens to their community, they never admit to being perfect but they will strive to be the best they can. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this is so refreshing to see and Carbine are really knocking it out of the park.

Since the #6714 build was uploaded to the servers we’ve had a couple of updated notes come in the form of hotfixes. Whilst a little out of date I thought I’d go over them before we get the next build released which is potentially likely today what with the 1.5 hour downtime. Continue reading Build #6714 Update Patch Notes
With the head start originally off to a sketchy start launch expectations for WildStar weren’t exactly high.
Come Tuesday morning servers came up aaand then they went down. Then an hour and a half later they came back with a small hotfix patch. Since then they’ve been rolling steady, and thriving. Continue reading Launch, a glorious launch at that.
